Analyst, Credit Risk Management - Consumer

PhonePe is seeking a talented Risk Analyst to join its expanding risk strategy team, focusing on the lending business. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust risk strategies that manage both fraud and credit risk, while simultaneously enabling business growth. You will be instrumental in evaluating alternative data sources to enhance risk management frameworks and build best-in-class risk models. This position requires a strong technical background coupled with a keen understanding of the business implications of your analytical work.

• Develop risk strategies to manage Fraud and Credit Risk for the lending business.
• Evaluate alternative data sources to strengthen risk management frameworks.
• Build and refine advanced risk models.
• Clearly communicate results and recommendations to various stakeholders.
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and drive improvements.

• B.Tech/B.E. from Tier-I & II colleges.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and MS Excel.
• Experience with statistical modeling techniques such as Decision Trees, XGBoost, etc. is preferred.
• Strong analytical acumen and problem-solving skills.
• Highly data-driven with the ability to balance technical needs with business goals.
• Agile, highly collaborative, and possess excellent communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a competitive and results-oriented work environment.
